John Chadima - Ownership of Three Iowa Franchise Locations

John Chadima is an established entrepreneur who owned and operated a trio of successful Firehouse Subs franchise locations across Eastern Iowa. He coordinated the financial pro-forma, design, construction, strategic planning and opening of each restaurant, setting in place dynamic, customer-centric teams that cultivated positive guest experiences. Each of John Chadima’s Firehouse Subs locations generated more than $1 million in annual sales. They were all highly promoted across various media channels.

John Chadima has a background in video and production work, having assisted with KGAN-TV (CBS-2) broadcasts out of Cedar Rapids in the early 1980s. He has also served as a sales and service assistant with the Hawkeye Fire and Safety Company. Mr. Chadima has earned an A Operator designation within the Firehouse Subs brand. He also utilized the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. This charitable endeavor contributes significant funds toward the purchase of equipment used by first responders to save lives in the local community. Over his eleven years of ownership at Firehouse Subs, Chadima's restaurants donated over $400,000.00 of life-saving equipment to Eastern Iowa first responders.

John Chadima is passionate about sports. He was also a key part of the 1982 and 1983 Cedar Rapids Regis High School Basketball State Champion squads. In his free time, he enjoys activities ranging from participating in church groups to crewing for a local hot air balloon business.
